this place was so underwhelming, I almost wanted to write a good review! disturbing noise from above made 9 nights unbearable, and don’t even get me started on breakfast, cold hard butter? really? I expected better for my special getaway, maybe a complimentary gesture would have been nice. how dare they think I’d accept mediocrity!

perfectly situated for exploring landmarks and parks
the hotel has a great location that made it easy to walk to attractions like the beautiful Robert W. Crown Memorial State Beach, just a little over 1.5 km away, and the fascinating USS Hornet Museum, which is about a 15-minute stroll, allowing me to enjoy the local scenery and charm of Alameda.

The Manchego ratatouille was a culinary highlight! Plus, the location is killer—just a stroll to fantastic eateries like Otaez Restaurant and Cookiebar. The rooms are comfy and spacious, perfect for unwinding after explorations!
They clean rooms on demand, which is a bit quirky. We asked for fresh towels but only got them thanks to the night manager's kindness. Still, it all sparkled at the end of the day!

Noise insulation between rooms leaves much to be desired!!! Elevators were broken during my stay, making it a hassle for everyone, particularly seniors!!! The decor is outdated, and it could use a complete refresh!!! I expected better!!!

The hotel offers free parking and is conveniently located near various restaurants, giving it a neighborhood charm. However, the breakfast was minimal and the pillows left much to be desired. The rooms were clean and comfortable enough for our family during our 9-night stay in the Queen Suite.

Great food choices for breakfast each day and accommodating staff made the experience enjoyable. The mini-fridge was also convenient for storing snacks. I appreciated the lovely quiet sitting area.
